No CAD package is intuitive, it’s not that they are difficult, it’s just that most people need some clear instructions explaining how the tools work – then it’s easy and interesting. Generally speaking the manual is useful once you have a reasonable overview of the software, but it is a manual, not a training book. TurboCAD have stopped publishing printed manuals, although I still have a few left at £40 each, they were written for v21, but still good for the latest versions. While these training films are created to be used with TurboCAD, they would also be of use to anyone starting in CAD, especially in 3D with SolidWorks. SolidWorks is an excellent package, but rather expensive. TurboCAD is similar enough to enable companies to run versions of both TurboCAD and SolidWorks together and swap drawings between the packages.
